  • Frame.io v4 Beta Compatibility
    Frame.io v4 beta currently does not support third-party apps, including SILOSYNC. If you have upgraded your account to v4, you can reach out to Frame.io to roll it back to v3. This is only a suggestion, as we want you to have the best workflow for your team. Once Frame.io v4 releases support for third-party integrations, we will implement it promptly.
  • What is the difference between SILOLink and SILOWatch?
    SILOLink, web application, is designed for creating custom upload paths and sharing files, while SILOWatch, desktop application, focuses on automating downloads and enhancing your file management. Together, they offer a comprehensive solution for your workflow.
  • What platforms and browsers are compatible with SILOSYNC?
    SILOSYNC is compatible with major web browsers like Chrome, Firefox, and Edge, ensuring a seamless experience. It's also accessible on Windows and macOS platforms.
  • What is OAuth 2, and how does it relate to SILOSYNC?
    OAuth 2.0 is a widely used authentication protocol that facilitates secure interactions between applications without sharing sensitive credentials. In the context of SILOSYNC's integration with Frame.io, OAuth 2.0 plays a crucial role. When you use SILOSYNC to connect with Frame.io, it initiates a secure "handshake" process using OAuth 2.0. This process allows SILOSYNC to request specific permissions based on its initial configuration, as defined when registering the app on Frame.io's Developer Portal. As a user, you will be presented with a special login screen where you can grant these permissions. Once you approve the request, SILOSYNC gains limited access to your Frame.io account, enabling it to perform specific actions on your behalf. This integration enhances the functionality of SILOSYNC and facilitates seamless file management between the two platforms.
  • How do I upgrade or change my subscription plan?
    Currently, there is no direct way to change your subscription plan. To switch plans, you'll need to cancel your current subscription and then re-subscribe to the plan you'd like to switch to. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
  • How can I disconnect my SILOSYNC account from Frame.io?
    To disconnect your SILOSYNC account from Frame.io, follow these steps: 1. In your Frame.io account, navigate to "Manage Account" > "Connected Apps." 2. Look for OAuth Apps that grant access to SILOSYNC. 3. Choose to revoke access. Please note that if you revoke access, any existing upload links will no longer function. If you wish to reactivate or make these links operational again, visit "My Links" on Silosync.io. Reconnect to Frame.io and confirm OAuth to restore functionality.
  • Is there a mobile app for SILOSYNC?
    Currently, SILOSYNC is available as a web and desktop application for both Mac and Windows. We don't have a mobile app at this time.
  • How can I cancel my subscription?
    If you wish to cancel your subscription, please follow these simple steps: 1. Log in to your SILOSYNC account on our website. 2. Go to the "My Account" section. 3. Click on the "Subscription" tab. 4. Scroll down to find the "Cancel Subscription" option. 5. Click on it and follow the prompts to confirm your cancellation. Please note that if you cancel your subscription before the end of your billing cycle, you will still have access to the services until the end of the cycle. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time on your subscription. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our customer support team.   • How can I delete my account on this site?
    Currently, it is not possible for members to delete their own accounts directly on this site. To request the deletion of your account and profile, you will need to contact us directly and we will assist you in the account removal process. Please be prepared to show proof of identification. There is an alternative method for site members to remove themselves from the site and delete their profile page. Members can achieve this by using the "Spaces by Wix" app. When you use this app to leave the site, it will effectively remove you as a member of the site and delete your profile page. Please note that you may need to install and log in to the "Spaces by Wix" app to utilize this workaround.
